introduction

Siyuan is a modern blackbody that feels more relaxed and friendly because of its middle weight and larger literal meaning. Developed by Google and Adobe, it is a multilingual font dedicated to providing an enjoyable reading experience for Asian users. The font supports four Asian characters: simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese, Japanese and Korean, with a total of 65535 glyphs of 44666 characters. There are currently two versions:

1. Google version: the official name is Noto Sans CJK and is a member of Google's Noto font family.

2. Adobe version: the official name is Source Han Sans, which is a member of Adobe's Source font family.

anecdotes

it is well known that Siyuan boldface is a member of Google's Noto font family. Noto is the abbreviation of"No Tofu". In the Windows system, characters that cannot be displayed are replaced by"□". The Japanese call it Tofu, which means"tofu". Thus it can be seen that the goal of the Noto font family is to eliminate"tofu", that is, there is no unsupported text.

Siyuan boldface is released under the Apache license agreement and can be used for commercial activities free of charge without paying copyright fees
